Strutting her stuff for fans outside the studio, Amy Adams visited "The Late Show with David Letterman" in New York City today (August 28).
The "Leap Year" star wore a sexy short red dress and black heels as she posed for fans and photographers with her hair blowing in the breeze.
Miss Adams talked to the late night host about her new film and the mysteries of Scientology in which she didn't have much to say.
Fans can see the 38-year-old actress in the upcoming Paul Thomas Anderson movie, "The Master," which follows a charismatic leader and his growing faith-based organization.
Amy plays the obedient and oppressed lover of the leader, played by Philip Seymour Hoffman. She drew from her childhood experiences in the Mormon church to help her embody the character.
She tells New York Magazine, "I definitely did see, growing up, a lot of women that were meant to be quiet and pleasant, and if you had something mean to say it's probably best to keep a journal..."
However, the Italian-born actress is reluctant to levy too harsh of criticism. "I'm always careful, because I still have relatives I care very much about who are involved (with the Mormon church)."
